Bishop Gary has written a lettter about reintroducing the distribution of the Precious Blood from the chalice (attached). Here at St Edward's, we will commence this distribution starting on Corpus Christi weekend, June 21st/22nd, as per the bishop's directions.

Pope Leo XIV's Inauguration Mass will take place on May 18, 2025, in St. Peter's Square, marking the beginning of his papacy and uniting the faithful in prayer and hope for his leadership. Available to high school grads who are members of the parishes of St Anns’ St. Edwards’, St. Louis de Montfort, (Lake Cowichan), St. Joseph's, (Chemainus), or Our Lady of Grace Parish, (Saltspring) and St Francis Xavier, (Mill Bay). No other applications will be accepted, except for children/grandchildren of Duncan K of C members who may live in other parishes.
