With the assistance of the Holy Spirit seek to live "a life that becomes a song of love for God, for humanity, with and for creation, and that finds its fullness in holiness."
This year’s theme, “Hope and Act with Creation”, is inspired by the Letter of St. Paul to the Romans (Rom 8:19-25). The World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation is celebrated every Sept. 1st. Click for the message from Pope Francis.
“God calls us to touch the lives of our aging, lonely, ill, palliative and dying sisters and brothers with accompaniment, kindness and compassion as the hands and face of Christ. In these sessions, you learn basic tools necessary to accompany those who are in need of the healing ministry of Christ.”
– Most Reverend Gary Gordon, Bishop of Victoria
